Mark Perry - Trumpet

Mark Perry is a 22 year old London based Trumpet player and is currently in his 4th year at Trinity College of Music. Since studying at Trinity Mark has won the Gladys Puttick Competition for free improvisation and more recently the Yamaha Classic/FM Jazzwise Scholarship Award, and has also toured with various bands to New York, Spain, Japan, and more recently has played in Vienna jazz festival and Brecon jazz festival where he recorded 3 tracks for BBC Radio Wales. Mark has also appeared on BBC Children in need in 2008 with X Factor winner Leon Jackson Mark has been playing the trumpet since 1996, he also plays piano and composes his own music which he performs with the Mark Perry Quintet.
