Hilary Cameron - Piano

Hilary is a London-based jazz artist. Her roots are in classical music but more recently she went to live in New York for 2 years studying jazz at Manhattan School of Music and playing in clubs and venues in New York City.

In London she started out on keyboards/vocals touring with the Gail Ann Dorsey Band and Womack and Womack. She then formed her own jazz/latin trio and performed at venues such as the Vortex and the 606 club in London.

Her influences are wide ranging and include salsa and Eastern European music. She toured with Europe's only all-female salsa band "Candela" and recorded with London-based band "Just East of Jazz".

On her return from the States Hilary joined forces with tenor/soprano saxophonist Clare Hirst and recorded the album '"Summer Song". She also played a week at Ronnie Scotts with jazz singer Zoe Schwarz in August 2005.

Hilary has recorded thirteen albums with UK based artists including Clare Hirst, Andrea Vicari, Jeremy Shoham (Just East of Jazz), Zoe Schwarz and The Steve Taylor Big Band.
